• Social

• Health worry

seen individually or in groups

Jackie can see children individually or in groups using a combination of

• Psycho-education

• Goal setting

• Change work techniques

• Pastoral support

• Confidence and reliance building

seen individually

Jackie can work with a range of issues- typically this includes:

• Anxiety

• Anger

• Lack of motivation

• Self-harm

• Eating disorders

• Spelling / learning strategies for dyslexia and other learning differences

• Exam stress

Many children feel an improvement after just one session- and they are resourced to be better able to deal with their world.

Schools have found having Jackie there regularly as a point of reference for troubled children relieves the pressure from teaching staff and saves on absenteeism and disruption during the school week.

Seen in Groups

Group Meeting

Young people are shown how everyone internalises the world in a unique way, and are totally in control of their thoughts, feelings and behaviours

A group that ran in Stokesley School in 2009 with 14 children at risk of exclusion resulted in a 75%+ reduction in behavioural reports following the 6 session programme- report can be read here

Groups can be purely delivered to get young people to understand how they ‘tick’ and how to get the best out of themselves and others, or bespoke sessions can be delivered on subjects such as:

• Feeling calm - Managing stress / anxiety

• Feeling in control - Managing anger

• Exam nerves

• Feeling confident

• Communicating effectively

• Handling bullying

I have attended several of Alan's training courses and can highly recommend him to anyone. He is extremely knowledgeable and very professional. He is also a genuinely caring person too which I think is just as important as there are a lot of over inflated egos out there!

Lynn Marshall - Registered Nurse

Alan is the best trainer and facilitator I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I have completed four of the Change Working courses and each time I come away more inspired. The NLP has impacted directly in my work in education and classrooms whilst also shining the light on the personal journey which has been life changing. The IEMT has brought an additional layer to coaching my one-to-one clients and each one has reflected that they felt positive change after the process. I can wholeheartedly recommend Alan; his ability to safely challenge, guide for change and hold the group without judgement is a great talent. I am returning next year for more NLP as I can trust the process, the facilitator and maximise my learning.

Anna Robinson - Specialist teacher for SEMH

definitely recommend Change Working

Tracey Dunning

Just brilliant! Alan inspires confidence, he's 'a real human being' and doesn't set himself up as 'a guru'. He's passionate about what he does and he shares his knowledge in an open and honest way. He just wants his students to be successful at what they do - both on a personal and professional level.

Valerie Edwards

Would thoroughly recommend Change Working. I have recently attended Alan's Foundation NLP course and I've learned loads about myself and other people. For me, this course and the coaching session that I had have been life changing. Thanks Alan - I will be eternally grateful
